Thank you so much to everyone who has been sending proposals and fighting with our submission site. As I look through everything, I’m starting to get excited about the conference and the wealth of knowledge and expertise you all have.

Don’t you want to be a part of that?!?

Today is the last day to submit a proposal (unless you have a really good bribe…) so get those Programs, Posters, Forums, Birds of a Feather, and Lightning Round ideas in.

If you’re still on the fence, I just want to remind you of some of the perks of presenting:

  • Program and Poster presenters receive a discounted conference registration.
  • You will contribute to the greatness that is the IUG community and forever be part of the IUG Presenter Alumni Association.**
  • You will have the opportunity to develop and improve presentation and public speaking skills in one of the friendliest, most supportive environments you will ever encounter.
  • You will have the undying gratitude of the Vice Chair.
  • If you’re tenure-track, it might help.
  • It looks good on a resume.
  • You get a cool ribbon on your conference badge.

**not a real thing

And don’t forget, if you run into technical problems, just email me. We’ll get it taken care of.
Happy Friday!
Renee
