Hi all,

Is your library still receiving Maintenance Agreements to sign and return every year? (A text document that laid out some of the responsibilities of III and the institution.) Someone here discovered that we don't have a copy of a recent one on file and a call to III revealed that they didn't either.

Anyway, I'm just curious if this is something the company has done away with or if ours just fell through the cracks somehow.

Thanks, and have a good one,
Joe Montibello

We must provide a signed and approved copy of the agreement every year before our financial office will pay our annual bill.  I have a reminder on my calendar to ask III for this agreement every year before our bill is due.

Joe,

We still get one every year, usually in early August. We also get robo-queries about remitting payment on occasion. I'm jealous that you've been spared this annual process. ;)

Oh, I misread. We don't receive a new maintenance agreement as far as I know, just the invoice.

Each year we receive an invoice but not the maintenance agreement. I have to request the maintenance agreement each year because our financial office will not process the invoice without it.

Innovative have not required a signed agreement from us for several years now - but I guess the newer PSA and SOW documents sort of supersede the older document?
