We were informed that III is no longer in the hardware business, turnkey not an option. Thus our upcoming budget request will be for the move to hosted (vs. replacement of turnkey servers). I am looking for some justification language, specifically about service restoration. When we had a failure in the past, it took almost 3 days to get a new server up and running (III had to fly in staff). I would guess that the timeframe would be much shorter in a hosted situation, but I may be wrong. I cannot find any good “sales” language on III (aside from being ISO compliant), strangely enough. Just need some bullets why hosted makes more sense than turnkey. Something aside from "we have no choice." :-) Anyway, if anyone has some verbiage to share, that would be most appreciated. I’m brain dead at the moment.
